Our family night this month will be a special focus on Easter traditions. We’ll be celebrating all that is great about the Easter holiday while we remember the resurrection of our Lord. Here are the details:
- Dinner is at 6:30. We’ll be having Easter favorites, like ham and scalloped potatoes. Individuals $3, families $8. Guests are free!
- Easter Egg Hunt – After dinner, we’ll move out to the back field for an Easter egg hunt. There are prizes for children of all ages… including adults! Be sure to bring your basket.
- Easter hat pageant – Remember when ladies (and some men) would wear fancy hats for Easter? This is your chance to relive that tradition. Wear your favorite Easter hat and show it off. Prizes will be offered in three categories: most colorful, most outrageous, and most glamorous.
- Egg tap contest – Does your egg have what it takes to be #1? Bring your own hard-boiled, decorated egg and face off with other eggs to see who has the toughest shell. Warning: Your egg most likely will be damaged, so don’t bring one you’re too attached to. Prize for the final egg standing.
